Scratch Tutorial 2 Player Platform Fighting Game Part 3 How to make a scratch platformer game

This is part #3 of our “2 Player Platform Fighting Game”. In this video we will be learning how to add the begin button, character selection buttons. Also change the “When Green Flag click” to receive “Start Game” broadcasting message.

This tutorial series will teach you how to make a 2 player platform fighting game in scratch. Player 1 will be using wasd keys to move around. The f and g keys will perform either melee attack or range attack. Player 2 will be using the arrow keys to move around. The 9 and 0 keys will perform either melee attack or range attack. If player get the gem, the force field will surround the player for 10 seconds, making the player invulnerable to any attacks.

We will be learning these following concepts in scratch
– Broadcast message
– Custom sprite
– Custom blocks
– Loops
– Color effect
– Variables (for all sprites and this sprite only)

IMPORTANT: You must first complete our other tutorial on the “Simple Platformer Game” in order to work on this game!
